THE MOST IMPORTANT ITEMS WILL BE DESTINED FOR INVESTMENTS AND SUSTAINABILITY

The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development, Carmen Ortiz, has explained in the Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development of the European Parliament (Comagri) the main lines of action of the Rural Development Program (PDR) Andalusian 2014-2020, whose absolute priority is “to achieve a more competitive and sustainable rural environment, through job creation, improving productivity and training ".
In this commitment to boost the competitiveness of agriculture and agribusiness, Ortiz has reported, the Andalusian PDR contemplates a budget of 182 million euros to modernize almost 5.900 farms and 130 million euros aimed at facilitating the incorporation of more than 2.500 young people to agricultural activity.
Of the measures contemplated by the Andalusian strategy, the most important items have been earmarked for investments and sustainability. So, the 28% of the budget is oriented to the modernization of farms, infrastructure and industries.

VISITS, TASTING AND COURSES

  • They organize guided tastings by technicians from the Cooperative and by technicians from the Olvera Denomination of Origin. They take place in our facilities of the Cooperative. They are aimed at schools, to consumer groups, hospitality schools, etc.
  • They organize you guided tours to the oil mill, checking the entire oil production process from the entry of the olive.
  • They are also organized visits to the field, to check the olive harvest and other crops.
  • They are taught training courses and talks on the cooperative activities.
